Believe In Your Dreams

How often does one put a lot of effort into something for nothing to come to fruition. Just as a seed will develop and begin to grow under the soil so too our ideas germinate and begin to gain momentum only to dissipate before anything comes of them. Why is this? It’s just like the tiny seedling that gives up before it breaks through the earth, withers and dies. The one thing that stops both is lack of faith in achieving the next step. Until we come to terms with the fact that the disappointment felt is due to our own shortcomings we will never achieve that dream.

How does one reach the sky, or live the impossible dream? This is something I am only just beginning to understand despite my years of study and teaching. Many writings in the Bible allude to the Kingdom of Heaven being within. Even for those who have no such belief in the Bible it is a saying worth remembering because it has been with us since the dawn of time. Nothing is written to help only those who believe in God and if it enables you to make your dreams come true it doesn’t matter where it came from. You just need to understand that heaven on earth is within your grasp if you believe in yourself and your ideas.

I am currently doing an experiment on this very concept as I have been stalling for some considerable time in moving forward with a venture. The realisation came to me that I had everything in place to move forward but in actual fact I stood still. Part of the key to moving forward is to be grateful for where you are at any give time and not bemoan the fact that things aren’t what you’d like them to be. Even the most despondent person can look at their life and find something positive to be grateful for.

Often things come about in very strange ways and this week somebody contacted me out of the blue who I realised would help me achieve my next step. So don’t give up on your dreams or even the next step towards getting what you want. Always be grateful for where you’re at now and truly believe you can achieve that dream. Feel it, desire it and even live it.
