Reiki is an energy and the Japanese word Reiki means spiritual energy or universal life-force energy. When it is used in healing it affects all of the energies that make up the human body or anything else in the natural world. The only limit Reiki has is the limit of your own imagination. If you visualise and believe both spiritually and internally then Reiki can help you achieve anything. For instance it can make you feel a better person within yourself, help with overcoming illness and discovering past and future lives.
Five principles of Reiki
Just for today do not get angry
Just for today do not worry
Just for today count your many blessings
Just for today do your work honestly
Just for today be kind to your neighbours and all living things
Quantum physicists say that at an atomic level everything that exists in the Universe is energy, vibrating and oscillating at different rates, so everything is energy. Science has finally confirmed something that has been part of spiritual wisdom for many years, that energy flows through and connects all living things. In Chinese this was referred to as Chi, in India, Prana, in Christianity, the Holy Ghost, and in Japan, Ki. This energy known by different names is in fact the life-force.
Reiki energy flows only through people who have been attuned to its vibrational frequency. The Reiki Practitioner uses this frequency to promote health and wellbeing.
The human body is made up of dense energy but higher frequencies surround the physical body on all sides and above and below it, this is called the aura. The aura is an emanation of physical energy or light which extends around the body, and although auras can be perceived in many different ways, including the Kirylon camera technique, on a very physical manifestation level or by a clarvoyant, auras are not usually visible to the naked eye because of being a field of energy of the highest vibration. The aura is spiritual energy and cannot be detected after death because the life-force has been removed.
